The full content of the book is also available as a searchable CD-ROM.Description: From the Ground Up is a three-volume collection of best practices and lessons learned by 320 distinguished HIV/AIDS professionals from around the globe, with a special focus on sub-Saharan Africa. This groundbreaking publication is being produced by the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation with support from the “A Day in the Life of Africa” AIDS Education Fund, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Harvard University, and others. In an unprecedented move for a publication of this size and quality, the Foundation is offering the book free of charge in the hope that it will reach the widest possible audience, especially those doing program implementation work “on the ground” in resource-limited settings.
