Max Essex, Deeda Blair and Maurice Tempelsman

By Martha Henry Maybe it all started with Deeda Blair, an early (and constant) supporter of the Harvard AIDS Institute. She introduced Max Essex, Chair of HAI, to Maurice Tempelsman in the 1980s.
