Dominic Chavez

Dominic Chavez who took the photographs for this special issue of Spotlight is a Boston-based freelance photographer who documents public health issues. Earlier in his career, he worked for The Boston Globe, recording the effects of war in Colombia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Angola. He has photographed the HIV/AIDS crisis in more than a dozen countries.
