HAVING OUR SAY:
WOMEN RESPOND TO THE WORLDWIDE AIDS EPIDEMIC

OCTOBER 4, 2000 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Harvard School of Public Health
Kresge Building, Room G1

Women comprise the fastest growing segment of the HIV-infected population in the world. More than 12.2 million women worldwide have become infected with HIV since the beginning of the epidemic, and the number continues to soar. Social and economic barriers challenge women’s ability to protect themselves and increase their vulnerabilty to HIV infection.
