On November 30, HAI co-sponsored Artworks for AIDS, an art auction to raise funds for HIV and AIDS programs in southern Africa. The artworks, commissioned by thirty southern African artists, explore the theme of HIV in Africa. The gala dinner and art auction was held at the Harvard Club in Boston.
HAI would like to extend its appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of ArtWorks for AIDS. All proceeds from the event are funding research and programs to confront HIV and AIDS in southern Africa.
